Hulu Plus rolls out to the masses

5 November 2010 8:28 GMT / By Paul Lamkin

US Sony fans are in for a treat as Hulu has announced that Hulu Plus is now available on the 2010 Bravia range, and it will also be hitting every PS3 XMB next week.

PlayStation Plus subscribers previously had access but the platform will now be available to all - it will appear under video on your system.

Hulu Plus, which had been in a beta period since its launch in June, and was only available on selected Samsung and Apple devices in the States, is also about to see a full release via the browser version for your desktop.

Hulu Plus is $9.99 a month, and offers 720p viewing and full seasons of popular shows.

There were plans to bring the service to the UK, but these have since been shelved as a result of disputes with broadcasters regarding advertising revenue.
