Tech deals: LG Optimus One launches at Carphone Warehouse

Comes with Android 2.2

The Carphone Warehouse has announced that it will be stocking the LG Optimus One from Thursday 4 November.

Running the most recent build of the Android OS (2.2) the LG Optimus One gets a half-decent lineup of features considering its budget handset leanings.

These include a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display, a microSD card slot to expand your storage - pretty essential as it only has 170MB built-in - a 1500mAh battery for decent talk time and connectivity including Wi-Fi b/g, HSDPA, bluetooth 2.1 and USB. The 600MHz processor should just about cope with iPlayer content and YouTube.

The LG Optimus One is available from free on a £20-a-month contract.
