Goo goo(gle) JooJoo 2: Android based sequel planned

26 October 2010 17:52 GMT / By Paul Lamkin

There have been some truly awful films that have still, somehow, warranted sequels. Titles that stand out include The Whole Ten Yards, Boggy Creek 2: The Legend Continues and Legally Blonde 2.

And, back to the tech world, we could be about to see an unwarranted sequel of our own, courtesy of the JooJoo 2.

But, unlike the Ubuntu-Linux based original, which was born out of the whole CrunchPad saga, the JooJoo 2 could be packing Android....sort of.

Gizmodo is reporting that the tablet could have Android on board, but no actual access to the Android Market due to Google's guidelines as to what devices qualify.

Whatever the final device comes loaded with, Fusion Garage will hope that it enjoys better figures than the original, which initially only had 90 pre-orders, of which 15 were cancelled.
