Colour display and Last.fm app

Roberts ColourStream to take on Pure's Sensia

19 October 2010 12:00 GMT / By Paul Lamkin

Roberts has unleashed its latest all-singing, all-dancing, multi-format radio - the Roberts ColourStream - complete with a colour touchscreen.

Spec-wise it's very similar to the Roberts Stream 83i, but with the touchscreen on board, and a Last.fm tie-up as well, it's clear that the ColourStream has Pure's Sensia in its sights.

And, to trump the Sensia on one front, it also includes and iPod dock - so no need for an auxiliary cable plugged into the 3.5mm jack.

Radio-wise, you've got the old favourite FM, the new favourite DAB and the soon-to-be favourite internet radio, and you can store up to 30 preset channels.

You can also stream music from your PC using your home network and play back various music files via USB.

The Roberts ColourStream will cost you around £200 when it is released. Release date is still to be confirmed.
