Pocket-lint has got its grubby paws on the Disgo Tablet 6000 - one of the devices within the first wave of Android based tablets.

The Disgo Tablet 6000 is designed with the budget concious in mind - with a price tag of just £180.

But does this relatively cheap price mean a reduction in quality?

Well, first impressions are that it's quite a slick looking, very slim device - albeit with slightly plasticy feel to it.

The 7-inch TFT screen is not capacitive, so it's not as responsive as an iPad or a high-end smartphone, but it seems to respond quite well, and at sub £200, it seems more than acceptable.

It has a screen resolution of 800 x 480, and is just 14.6mm thick. There's a iMAPx200 1GHz processor on board with 16KB of L2 Cache, and 256MB of RAM.

It comes with a 2GB microSD card included and you can upgrade to a bigger card, to a maximum of 32GB.

The Disgo Tablet 6000 has a 1500mAh rechargeable polymer battery, a 2D/3D graphic accelerator, two 0.5W speakers and a HDMI out port.
