Windows Phone 7: we're live at the launch

11 October 2010 13:50 GMT / By Chris Hall

The stage is set, the players wait anxiously in the wings, the auditorium is brimming with a frisson of excitement that only a new mobile phone operating system and a wealth of handsets can bring. Through this obscure little door could lie your next mobile phone.

Pocket-lint in the mix, ready to bring you all the action as it happens from the London event.

What do we know about Windows Phone 7 already? We saw it announced and previewed at Mobile World Congress 2010 back in February and we've seen gossip, rumour, leaks, leaks and leaks. We summed up all we knew on Friday, so give it a read.

But it wouldn't be launch day if some didn't miss their cue. LG burst out the doors early, whilst Samsung flashed us a tasteful glimpse and we're ready to see what else is sitting in the green room.

Stay tuned and we'll bring you all the news as it happens.
