Samsung, not to be left out of the Windows Phone 7 launch party has announced the Samsung Omina 7 - an OLED packing, 1GHz-touting Windows Phone 7 handset.

Coming to Orange, T-Mobile and Three, the Omnia 7 has a 4-inch Super AMOLED touch screen, a 1GHz Qualcomm QSD8250 application processor, 8GB of storage, a 5-megapixel camera with 720p and 25fps, HD recording, "all packed into a sleek, slimline design with metallic finish".

And in the hand, that slim, really is slim.

Connectivity comes via BlueTooth 2.1, USB 2.0, Wi-Fi b/g/n, HSUPA 5.76Mbps, HSDPA 7.2Mbps (900/1900/2100 MHz) and EDGE/GPRS (850/900/1800/1900 MHz).

Aside from the sleek hardware you'll get the Samsung hub giving you news, stocks and of course all the bells and whistles of Windows Phone 7.

Those who opt for the Three variant will get a dedicated Three hub giving you access to Three services.

Of all the Windows Phone 7 handsets, this is the one that seems to be the least tampered with.
