PES 2011: First DLC update due 12 October

8 October 2010 17:12 GMT / By Paul Lamkin

Konami has announced that the first DLC content for Pro Evolution Soccer is coming on 12 October, just 4 days after its UK release.

The news will be welcomed by the PES community, with players already frustrated that all of the summer wheeling and dealings (don't say those words to 'Arry) weren't included in the official release.

Now Spurs fans will be able to play Van Der Vaart in their starting XIs, and other notable transfers such as Zlatan Ibrahimovi at AC Milan and Guti at Besiktas will be put into place as well.

The patch will also bring with it the real Champions League groupings, and some kits have also been updated as well. Finally, there are four more licensed teams on board, and some extra Lionel Messi wallpapers.

The update will be free of charge and is for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC gamers.
