Intempo, a company that specialises in making digital radios in the UK, has updated its bog-standard iPod speaker system with a new football looking speaker model.

Called the iDS-02, the design is a clear step away from anything the company has created before and comes in either black or white.

The 2.1 system for iPOD, MP3 and other audio devices features 2 x 7.5 watt stereo speakers plus 15 watt subwoofer.

Like standard iPod speaker systems you can synchronise and charge your iPOD via the dock connector and it comes with a USB and Firewire connections for connecting to PC.

Lazy music fans will also be pleased to hear the unit comes with a remote control.

Although not listed as yet on the company's website the new model will set you back £130 and is available shortly.
