More FIFA 11 iPhone screenshots released

29 September 2010 17:28 GMT / By Paul Lamkin

FIFA 11 is all set for its iPhone outing next month, and to whet your appetites EA has released a couple more screenshots.

One of the shots shows action from the football sim, giving a taster from a MLS match between David Beckham's LA Galaxy and Thierry Henry's New York Red Bulls, with the shoot, pass and through-ball options all on show.

The next shot is one of the pre-match set up screen which shows that the iPhone version doesn't scrimp on the finer details, as is the strong point of the FIFA series. You can almost smell the aftershave on Becks' Galaxy jersey.

The game features 500 officially licensed teams and 50 real-life stadia. It should hit the App Store in October.
