Denon details latest high-end headphones: The AH-NC800

Denon has announced the details of its latest audiophile headphones - the dual noise cancelling AH-NC800.

The cans are a serious piece of kit - as you'd expect with Denon and a £250 price tag.

The AH-NC800 have been designed with comfort in mind. Denon has used what it calls the "human factor", meaning a design "based on precise scientific modelling and anatomical measurements of the human head...leaving virtually no gap between the band and the wearer’s head".

New dual-noise-cancelling technology means that ambient sounds are cut by 99 per cent using a system of two microphones that cancel noise from outside and inside the cans.

The AH-NC800 also contains Denon's compressed audio restorer tech as well as high-quality 42mm drivers and detachable OFC cables with gold-plated plugs. You get 40hrs of noise cancelled listening via one AAA battery.

The Denon AH-NC800 will hit shops in October and, as mentioned, will set you back £250.
