Motorola SCPL rumoured release date

You may get one in your stocking if you've been a very good boy or girl this year

The SCPL from Motorola is arguably this year's most hotly anticipated phone since news of the specs first started leaking.

Now the word in the industry is that the phone will be on sale in December, just in time for the Christmas rush to buy all things shiny and new.

Pronounced "scalpel", the phone has tapped into society's obsession with thin and promises to be only 5mm thick, beating the current slimmest phone by 1.9mm (the Samsung SGH-X820).
