BenQ is ensuring that the company is at the forefront of the HD revolution by debuting a host of new products at a technology conference in Taiwan.First up is the BenQ FP241W, which the company claims is the world's first LCD monitor built for high definition. The built-in HDMI interface can handle 5Gbps data transfers and eliminates the need for signal conversions thus enabling high quality video.
BenQ also unveiled a line of projectors, of which the W10000 is the leader of the pack. It's designed for high-end home theatre users and is capable of projecting a 1080p HD image. The super high contrast ration and BenQ's "Senseye" digital-enhancement technology means that it's able to project clear and sharp images.
Not to be outdone by Philips, who released its TripleWriter earlier this week, BenQ has also launched a triple disc burner, the Trio. It can write to Blu-ray, DVDs and CDs.
Lastly, BenQ showed off the world's slimmest 6MP camera, the X610, as well as 6 other cameras in four series, named Classic, Elegance, Luxury and Performance.
Pocket-lint is awaiting news on availability and pricing in the UK. We'll keep you updated.
