Panasonic unveils the tiny SDR S150 camcorder

Ultra-compact camcorder can record to SDHC cards

Panasonic's latest camcorder is a pocket-sized wonder, but promises not to sacrifice style over substance.

With three CCD sensors the SDR-S150 shoots high-quality video straight to SD card.

The specs are similar to those of its predecessor, the S100, but the S150 can record on 4GB SD High-Capacity cards that hold up to 3 hours and 20 minutes of footage.

The camcorder is fired up and ready to go in just 1.5 seconds, and incorporates Optical Image Stabiliser to ensure sharp shots in difficult conditions.

Thanks to a partnership with Leica, the lens on the SD-S150 is new Dicomar Lens, with 12 elements in 8 groups, and a 10x optical zoom.

Pocket-lint will give you further specifications as they become available.
