Altec Lansing recently unveiled a new array of products at the IFA 2010 tech show in Berlin, and among the goodies announced was the Octiv Dual 202 Audio Dock. We were lucky enough to be given a sneaky peek at the compact system, which is certified to work with both the iPhone and iPod.

Designed to fit into a corner, the unit can be used to charge two Apple devices at the same time, and can even accomodate iPhone skins and covers so that you shouldn't have to remove them to fit your phone or iPod into the docking ports.

What's more, Altec Lansing has thoughtfully provided the free, downloadable Music Mix app that lets you shuffle between songs from both players. There's also the free Alarm Rock app which functions as an alarm clock with a time display and large snooze button. Using the app, you can wake up to your favourite tunes, and also set up the customizable interface to suit your taste.

Stay tuned for a full review.
