Google Video Player now made for Mac

Player lets users download video content from Google's video store

It's been a busy week for Google products. Not only was a trial version of Google Spreadsheets released, but the Mac version of Google Video Player is now online and ready for download.

The Mac Google Video Player is a Universal binary, so that it runs on both Intel and PowerPC Macs. It plays both free videos from the Google site that you can download and keep, and download-for-a-fee videos.

The Google Video site features amateur videos as well as videos of popular TV shows like CSI (but when Pocket-lint tried to access them, they couldn't be found — hopefully this is just a short-lived glitch).

Google Video Player has been available for PC since early this year.
