The Halo: Reach Premiere took place in London on the evening of 9 September, with an elite Halo squad taking on a celebrity team featuring England football captain Rio Ferdinand and The Gadget Show's Jason Bradbury. With Reggie Yates presenting.
And, just as Bradbury had predicted to Pocket-lint, the celeb team took quite a bashing - despite the efforts of the UK's number 1 Halo player Lewis Chapman.
The celeb squad also contained Ben Cohen (England rugby star), Mr. Hudson (British R'n'B star), and Jameela Jamil (T4 presenter and model), but they couldn't get anywhere near their serious games-playing counterparts, losing each of the three rounds, 61-15, 64-10, and 84-27 (kills for each side).
Nonetheless, a great night was had by all, and it has whet the Pocket-lint team's appetite for the imminent game release (out 14 September). Be sure to catch our review soon.
