HP introduced two new products designed for businesmen and women: the HP 3-in-1 NAS Docking Station, and the HP Compaq nx6325 Notebook PC.The Docking Station features Network Attached Storage for data backup and recovery, plus file and device sharing. It effectively turns the notebook PC into a desktop, with two network USB ports to enable peripherals to be connected and shared across the network, as well as six USB ports, and MultiBay II and ExpressCard slots for future expansion.
An in-built SATA hard drive stores 160GB of data and is accessible as a network drive, while an embedded NAS Configuration Utility facilitates secure file sharing.
The HP Compaq nx6325 Notebook PC makes use of AMD's latest technologies and features a dual core processor for speedy multi-tasking.
The lightweight PC is designed with portability in mind, and is powered by extended-batteries. A 7-in-1 card reader is included, while an optional double-layer DVD+/-RW with LightScribe technology lets users burn custom labels on to the disc.
Also available to beef up security is a biometric fingerprint sensor and a Smart Card reader.
Starting in early July, the Docking Station will be available for Hardware, Laptops, HP
