If you have ever been in the bath musing the meaning of life, when suddenly you have a eureka moment, then Pocket-lint's website of the day might just be for you.

This is because we're covering the wondrous world of Patently Silly, where you'll find all the wacky inventions thought up by the creatively minded amongst us - all of which are patents issued by the US Patent and Trademark Office.

Yes, Patently Silly has been around for a while now, but if you haven't taken a look it's well worth a browse as some of the inventions/contraptions are truly memorable.

However, some of the examples are looking a bit old now, so make sure you get down to the patent office and file you idea, and rather than making millions it could well end up here.
