Dust off your BMX and bust out the Rubik's Cube, because SodaStream is back (again). Fans of the famous homemade fizzy drinks maker, beloved of children of the 80s will be pleased to hear that we uncovered a new model being showcased at the recent IFA tech show in Berlin.
Known as the Fizz, the new model is equipped with the Fizz Chip, which lets you choose how fizzy you want your drink (light, medium or strong) and also displays the amount of CO2 remaining in the carbonator, via the top-mounted display panel. You'll be able to choose from a range of vibrant colours including white, black, green, red and blue.
It'll be available in the US by spring 2011, although there's no concrete news on UK availability yet. However, there are hints that it could be available in some parts of Europe before Christmas. We'll bring you more as soon as we find out.
