Luxury audio brand Auluxe has unveiled the Reverie Casa iPod and iPhone dock, which follows on from its original Reverie dock.
Sporting the "Made for iPhone" tag, the device can accommodate all the latest Apple products and also functions as a DAB and FM radio, whilst boasting a 30W power output from the speakers. The distinctive oval chassis is made from recycled pine mdf and is laboriously shaped by hand, with the entire multi-stage production process of each product taking up to 13 hours to complete. The dock also features a 3.5mm auxiliary input and a video out port.
First established in 2007 and based in Taiwan, Auluxe launched in the UK in June 2010 with its award-winning Dew Mini hi-fi system. Founded on the principles of "Nature, handcrafted and delicacy" the brand aims to offer trend-setting high-end audio products that use the best materials possible. Passionate about its environmentally friendly credentials, the company uses recycled materials wherever possible while the Reverie Casa has a low-power Class D digital audio amplifier.
Auluxe will also be launching a new version of the dock with an integrated CD player early next year, along with the Reverie Prelude - a compact radio and wireless music streamer.
The Reverie Casa is due to launch in November, initially in Marks & Spencer and Micro Anvika, priced at £330.
