Philips Streamium Wireless Micro Hifi system streams in

IFA 2010, this year, has all been about tablets and 3D equipment.

But there is plenty of other kit out there being shown off, you just have to look that little bit harder.

One device that doesn't fall into either of those two categories, that still managed to catch our eye, was the updated Philips Streamium Wireless Micro Hifi System MCi298.

And not because it has the longest title of any product on show - because it is a rather sexy and cool looking micro Hi-Fi system.

The MCi298 is only 90mm thick, so it is wall-mountable, but despite being pretty slim it still packs some great features on board.

It can playback CDs (including digital data CDs like MP3 and WMA loaded ones) and you can also playback digital files via a USB flash drive, or straight from your MP3 player using the aux-in.

There's also FM and internet radio on board (no DAB though) and, as the Streamium name suggests, you can also stream music from your PC or Mac via its Wi-Fi connection.

Your music is played back via 2x10W speakers and it's all controlled by a very suave looking 3.5-inch touchscreen display.

The Philips Streamium Wireless Micro Hifi System MCi298 will cost you around £200.
