The UK is the first market for Research in Motion's newest BlackBerry, the 7130g.

Unlike many of the chunkier models, the 7130g features a slim mobile-phone design, and supports GPRS push-based email, phone, SMS, web functionality, intranet access, organizer, and instant messaging.

Phone features include smart dialing, conference calling, speed dial, and call forwarding, while an Intel XScale cellular processor with 64MB flash memory and 16MB SDRAM runs enterprise, personal productivity, and game application.

Bluetooth support and speakerphone allow for hands-free operation, while quad-band network support ensures that the BlackBerry will work worldwide.

The 240 x 260 colour screen adjusts automatically depending on the ambient light so that the screen is visible outdoors as well as inside.

Pricing is variable depending on contract.
