Pioneer has announced its latest iPod dock - the Kodo XW-NAW1.

The dock is only 83mm thick so it's wall-mountable, but it also comes with a stand if you don't fancy drilling holes into your magnolia partitions.

It's a sleek looking dock with touch-sensitive controls and there's also a remote if the illuminating blue glow isn't a big enough lure to get you up off the sofa.

It has a two-way 30W stereo speaker with neodymium tweeter magnets and there is also video out via a component connection.

"The latest addition to the Kodo range perfectly combines flexibility with superb sound", said Dominic Feeney of Pioneer.

"At an affordable price, the versatile and stylish XW-NAW1 will conveniently accommodate any living space and ensure iPod and iPhone users receive the highest sound quality".

Affordable is a bit of a loose term - it's all relevant you see. If £199 is affordable to you then Feeney's talking sense.

The Pioneer KODO XW-NAW1 is out in September.
