Motorola update program: When will you get your Android upgrade?

Motorola has published a comprehensive breakdown of when its Android handsets will be getting their various software upgrades.

The guide, which is specific for each region, states that over in Europe the Backflip and the Dext will be cupcakes (Android 1.5) forever, despite other regions seeing Eclair (2.1) updates for both of these handsets.

The good news is confirmation that Froyo (2.2) will be coming to the Milestone before the end of the year.

Over in the States, there is also confirmation that Froyo will be hitting the Droid X by the time the summer is out.
