With the Photokina camera fest just a month away Pocket-lint is - even more than usual - looking into everything related to the world of photography. As such we've got a Camera-related deal today featuring the ace Ricoh CX2 compact.
We gave this the Pocket-lint full review treatment in October 2009 and found it to be a highly capable device. And despite the Ricoh CX3 being launched earlier this year (2010) and now the CX4 looking to be launched this September - the fact that you can pick the Ricoh CX2 model up at Camerabox for under £200 means you're getting a hell of lot of camera for your money.
Quality runs all the way through this snapper, and despite it being aimed at the more advanced user, as best results will be gained from keeping control to yourself, it's still pretty easy to use and if you put the time in it will deliver some cracking pics.
You'll get a very decent 28-300mm (35mm equivalent) lens, a top-notch LCD and some good low ISO image quality.
If you fancy taking a look, details and a place to buy can be found here.
