If you're after the holy grail of PVRs, look no further as the Humax HDR-Fox T2 proved itself more than worthy in our Pocket-lint full review. And as luck would have it you can pick this little beauty up for £1 under 300 quid.

Available from very.co.uk, the Humax HDR-Fox T2 is a slick and speedy set-top box/home hub, whilst its functionality is perhaps as important as its high-def ambitions and puts it alongside the likes of Sky+ and Virgin V+ on sheer ease of use.

You'll get a decent 500GB hard disk for recording your favourite shows, which should give around 125 hours of high-def and 300 hours in standard.

There's also a whole host of connectivity on offer, covering such delights as HDMI output, flanked by ports for USB, Ethernet LAN, a Scart, Composite video, analogue audio and optical audio - as well as file formats aplenty, which include DivX HD and Dolby Digital support.

For a place to buy, click through on the link to very.co.uk above, but before you do check out our review.
