Sanyo is marketing the Xacti C6 as "the world's smallest, thinnest, and lightest solid state still and moving image camera".

The C6 can capture 6MP still images while recording 30fps video. It accepts SD cards up to 1GB for up to one hour of video recording in MPEG4 format.

The 2-inch LCD screen has an impressive resolution of 210,000 pixels for a sharp and clear picture that Sanyo promises will be visible even in bright outdoor conditions.

Like the other models in the Xacti range, the C6 is operated with one hand, and is available in silver, black, or red. It also features a 5x optical, 12x digital zoom, as well as Digital Image Stabiliser technology to correct wobbly shots while shooting long lengths of video.

Pricing for the C6 is not yet available.
