Samsung Galaxy Tab 3G version coming to Vodafone?

Network to offer 3G packages?

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3G version coming to Vodafone?

16 August 2010 11:07 GMT / By Paul Lamkin

Last week Pocket-lint reported how Samsung's potential iPad killer - the Samsung Galaxy Tablet (or Tab, Tape, or maybe even sPad) - is on course for an IFA unveiling next month, and now a supposed screenshot from Vodafone's systems has turned up, hinting that the network may be on board for its 3G data plans.

Until now we have never been entirely sure that there would be 3G connectivity on board, although the Galaxy label from its popular handset range did hint at it. And although this is far from concrete confirmation it's a promising indication.

So now we can add 3G connectivity to the list of Galaxy Tab features that we think will be on board, which include a 7-inch Super-AMOLED display, Android 2.2, and a 1.2GHz A8 processor.

There's no suggestion that Samsung's tablet will be exclusive to Vodafone, it might well be that rival networks offer their own data plans, much like the iPad scenario.

Pocket-lint will be at IFA 2010 in full force, so if anything official does get announced regarding Samsung's tablet, then expect us to get up close and personal with it and bring you all of the juicy details.
