High-end audio is pretty confusing to most people and, unless you are a pure audiophile, will spend most of your time happy with a single box that plays music.

In steps this video that highlights what must happen nearly every day in audio shops around the world.

Who is right and who is wrong depends on how you view separates versus iPod docks or all-in-one-systems, still it's fun to watch.
