Polaroid has released a 10MP compact camera in the US market. The resolution appears to be the stand-out feature on the i1032 that has otherwise-average specifications for a compact.
It has a 3x optical and 4x digital zoom, as well as a 2.4-inch LCD display, 32MB of internal memory and an SD card slot. The maximum memory it supports is 1GB.
It will be interesting to see the first reviews of this model, as tests by key press in the industry have already shown that more megapixels in a smaller sensor usually means noisier images.
