Extensis launches Portfolio 7 for Mac OS X

Extensis today announced immediate availability of its leading Digital Asset Management solution, Portfolio 7 and Portfolio Server 7 for Macintosh.

The package enables photographers, graphic artists and other individuals and workgroups to organize, retrieve, repurpose, and distribute digital files.

Portfolio Server also provides instant access to assets across the Internet and other wide area networks, opening the communication channel between distributed team members and partner networks, making asset management and collaboration easier and more efficient than ever before.

The most dramatic new addition to the Portfolio 7 Suite of products is NetPublish - an add-on module that automates the process of dynamically distributing Portfolio catalog contents through the Internet.

Portfolio 7 is available now and cost £129.99 with a single NetPublish license. Additional NetPublish licenses can be purchased for an estimated street price of £129.99 (five concurrent web connections) or £599.99 (unlimited web connections). In addition, upgrades to Portfolio 7 are available for an estimated street price of £69.99

Portfolio Server's estimated street price is £2199.99. Upgrades to Portfolio 7 Server are available for an estimated street price of £1199.95. NetPublish Server licenses can be purchased for an estimated street price of £1199.95. SQL Connect for MSDE is available for £2699.95. SQL Connect for Oracle 8i/9i/10 is available for £4499.95.
