A picture of what is purporting to be the Windows Phone 7 launch handset from computer maker Asus has turned up on the Internet.
Captured in Pakistan, of all places, virtually nothing is known about the phone other than what you can see in the image.
That means a brushed metal casing on the front, a large touchscreen display of around 3.5- 4-inches and, of course, the new OS that is expected to be launching in the UK in October and the US in November.
Other titbits we've managed to glean from putting the picture under the microscope (read PhotoShop), include the "must have" three buttons; Windows, Back and Search, and what looks to be a very small front facing camera, although even that is debatable - remember the iPad's camera turned out to be a light sensor.
Keep your eyes peeled to Pocket-lint, we'll be scouring the web and doing our darnedest to find out some more details.
Asus will be just one of the launch partners for Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 launch later this year with Dell, Samsung, LG, and HTC also launching handsets in the run up to Christmas.
How this handset will fare against the competition, only time will tell.
In the meantime, check out all of our other Windows Phone 7 news below, for a complete rundown for the forthcoming OS.....
