Meridian M80: Reassuringly expensive all-in-one media hub

Meridian Audio, the high-end specialist, has unveiled its latest all-in-one, the M80.

And, because it's Meridian you know that you're going to be paying out quite a hefty price. And £1500 is what you will need to shell out for this particular piece of kit.

So what are you getting for the expensive price-tag?

The M80 is a compact entertainment system with video and audio features. The curved machine, which is available in black, ivory or chestnut is a loudspeaker in itself (2.1 DSP), and will playback your CDs and DVDs as well as DAB and FM radio, and there is also digital media input with a dedicated i80 iPod link and dock.

If the spec seems worthy of your wallet full of cash, then you'll be able to get the system before September comes around.
