WEBSITE OF THE DAY - Coma

Play this game and your days could be gone in a Flash

Playing games online is the staple of many office lives, but a word of warning about this one - it can become all-consuming very, very quickly. We're all addicted to it.

Coma is one of the best Flash games we've seen. You've got to steer young Pete through a nightmarish, subconscious landscape on an adventure that strays towards the seriously dark in places. Game play is simple enough - arrow keys to move him around, and then onscreen prompts to take you through the narrative and open up new directions.

The music really helps to build a sinister and immersive atmosphere and the game has a real sense of scale - despite its humble Flash foundations.

It's compelling, disturbing and strangely beautiful, so be prepared to spend many an hour in the company of poor little Pete and his dystopian world. It's proving popular too - to the point that walkthroughs and tips are surfacing all the time.
