You can either take it as gospel truth or with a pinch of salt, but Mac insider John Gruber, who has been equally right and wrong about upcoming Apple announcements in the past, is predicting a bevy of new Apple gear for Tuesday from the Cupertino based company.
In a blog post promoting the return of his podcast, Gruber states:
"We’ll have much to talk about, what with the new Mac Pros (finally, right?), speed-bump iMacs, and the gorgeous new 16:9 27-inch Cinema Display that Apple might hypothetically release tomorrow [Tuesday]".
He goes on to suggest in an update to the post that we might even be getting that "Magic" multi-touch trackpad device that recently turned up at the FCC in America.
Elsewhere, rumours are also suggesting that Apple is about to launch iLife '10, its multimedia software that the company normally announces in January. If rumours are correct it will be getting a 7 August release date.
What do you think? Will we be informing you of new products on Tuesday 27 July, or is it just a trick to make us plug Gruber's new podcast? Let us know in the comments below.
