Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX5K leaks

18 July 2010 9:57 GMT / By Stuart Miles

Panasonic is expected to announce the launch of a new digital camera "internationally" on Wednesday 21 July, according to a leaked customer support page on the Panasonic website.

Found by 43rumors for the rest of the world to enjoy, the company, if its website is to be believed, and we can't see why it wouldn't be, will be launching the 10.1-megapixel packing Lumix DMC-LX5K digital camera very soon.

The new model will sport a F2.0 Leica DC Summicron Lens, a 1/1.63-inch High Sensitivity 10-megapixel CCD with evolved sensor technology, My color mode, Manual exposure even in movie mode, HD Movie Recording - AVCHD Lite, and will come in black.

Other features of note appear to be a 3.8x optical zoom, an ISO level that goes up to 12,800 and HDMI output for video playback. There will also be an optional electronic or optical viewfinder.

The customer support page is still available on the Panasonic site at the time of writing so check out the full specs before they pull it.

Stay tuned for Tuesday 21 July to see if the leak becomes a reality.

We will keep you posted.
