White iPhone 4 landing in days

Apple has confirmed that the yet-to-be-released white version of the iPhone 4 will be arriving in the UK by the end of the month.

Steve Jobs made the announcement at the company's emergency press conference, where it also confirmed that all iPhone 4 customers would be receiving a free bumper to stop problems with the "death grip" antenna issue.

The news of the new coloured iPhone 4 will be welcomed by fans of the phone looking for something a bit lighter and friendlier than the current black offering.

Earlier in the month confusion arose as to when the white models would be showing up after Sky News mistakenly showed tech journalist Claudine Beaumont's review unit as a regular customer's model.

Will you be buying the white version? Let us know in the comments below.
