New site, same trusted source for what's happening in the big wide world

The founding principle of the worldwide web was that it should be free.

For everybody.

So as the great paywall gamble continues over at Fortress Wapping, with News International titles charging for the news, it’s reassuring that you can still get your fix of current affairs from a trusted source without having to shell out.

Admittedly, the Beeb is funded by a license fee, but as an end user, you can get all the latest impartial news on this new, redesigned portal for nothing, nada, zilch.

Long may it continue.
