iPhone 4: SLR botch-job

It's not pretty, but we like it

iPhone 4: SLR botch-job

If you're not happy with the 5x digital zoom on your iPhone 4 then why not pimp the hell out of it like this ramshackle hack job that we spotted over at TUAW?

The mishmash appears to have turned the iPhone 4's humble camera into a fully fledged SLR complete with a Carl Zeiss lens.

It also uses a a Manfrotto Model 797 Modopocket tripod and is finished off with a clamp-like rig holding it all together.

Sure, it looks pretty ugly and it would be extremely impractical but we have to award top marks for innovation and originality.
