The Jaybird SB2 Bluetooth headphones look like something a concept designer would have drawn up in 1985 when envisioning what 2010 might have looked like. And whilst it is 2010, and these headphones do actually exists, they are nothing like the norm.
These retro-futurist headphones are just so, so cool. They just ooze coolness. Even the nine colours that they are available in have cool names like Sonic Blue and Limonade Green.
They are capable of high fidelity bass and can also play back CD-quality tunes as long as your device supports apt-X. If your device doesn't support apt-X you can buy a separate adaptor from Jaybird to get the full quality your music deserves. (Unless you are a Scissor Sisters fan - then your music doesn't deserve anything but ridicule).
They are 32-Ohm, have an output of 15mW RMS (with level limit) and a total harmonic distortion of less than 5 per cent (1KHz, 10mW). You'll get 8 hours of playback from a single charge, with a standby life of around 10 days. They also have a built-in mic, so you can use them for your calls.
They cost $99 and you can order them here.
