iPhone 4: Death grip leaked memo

Boy Genius Report has got its hands on the official Apple customer service standpoint regarding the signal issues plaguing the iPhone 4.

In it, Apple admit that there is a problem - but it is an issue that affects many other mobile handsets and not just the iPhone.

The memo tells its staff to reiterate the advice it had previously announced - to hold your mobile phone differently - and also told staff to stick with the earlier statement of advising people not to cover the bottom left corner of their phones (or bottom right if the customer is having issues with an iPhone 3GS).

So, no chance of blagging yourself a free bumper then, even though Apple admits that these cases solve the problem.
