There have been further rumblings surrounding Google's plans to create a music download service, something which would certainly create a few ripples around the Web.

Clearly those ripples will be directed for the most part at iTunes, especially as the Google music service will not only tie in the use of its search engine, but use its Android OS in order to integrate it further - Your TV, phone and car could all be covered by this.

However, we may have to wait a little while before we can further integrate something-Google into our lives as the WSJ reports that according to "people briefed on the talks. The launch of Google's download music store is still months away".

So it looks like Apple and Google will have something other than the iPhone and Android to talk about in a few months time, but a bit of competition never hurt anyone - right?
