The website of the day today is huntforit.co.uk an alternative to online auction site eBay.

The brainchild of 16-year-old Martin Hunt, Huntforit.co.uk is an online auction site that promises to offer buyers and sellers better deals than competing sites in terms of free listings, lower commission charges and the convenience of text bidding.

Huntforit.co.uk's mobile texting service for example allows anyone on any network to bid for any item via text and earn 5 pence each time a text bid is sent.

Users can also compete against each other in the HuntForIt game "smashed" as well as enter competitions in between browsing for bargains.
