IBM has updated its Seer app (which we told you all about last year) in time for the Championships which begins on 21 June.

The app, which is available on both Android handsets and the iPhone, mixes augmented reality, video and real time data to offer you a more tech-based All England Club experience.

The app will give you geotagged info on all sorts of useful information like queue lengths, where you can buy your strawberries and cream and the easiest place to get piddled on Pimm's. You can also integrate with Twitter within the app.

It will also provide more tennis specific info like court info and will even let you "see through walls" by watching the matches that you can't get in to.

"IBM Seer has been designed to enhance the way people can experience and engage with major events of the future", said Alan Flack, IBM’s Wimbledon client and programme executive.

“This year’s development uses cutting edge technology to allow visitors to see Wimbledon in a way that has never been experienced before and make their visit even more engaging, accessible and enjoyable”.
