Three announces Mi-Fi update

3G hotspot now with better displays

Three Mobile has unleashed its latest Mi-Fi hotspot device, the Huawei E585. Named the "one-touch", Three has stated that it listened to customer feedback from the original device before designing this one.

The feedback must have stated that users wanted a one-button start up, an online dashboard to control their device and an OLED display because that's exactly what's included. The dashboard works on any browser and the display lets you know the amount of data that you've used, the speed of your connection and the amount of time you've been browsing.

It's out early next month, and will cost you £49.99 on a pay as you go basis.

Mi-Fi is definitely a solution if you're looking to hook up your USB lacking devices to the web, but with tethering and Wi-Fi hotspot creation becoming more available on smartphones, the device may only be a viable option for a limited number of people.
