Nikon D4 DSLR turns up, but is it the real deal?

Faked, photoshopped, or just snapped?

Nikon D4 DSLR turns up, but is it the real deal?

We are putting this one in the "probably fake" pot, however they look so well done that we have to err on the side of "possibly not" and therefore are keen to see what you think.

Nikon Rumours has just posted three rather good pictures of the yet-to-be-announced Nikon D4 that has its forum of Nikon users all hot under the collar, as to whether they are very good Photoshops or the real deal.

While some question the fact that the guy posting the story has never posted to the forums before, others suggest the kerning of the Nikon logo just isn't right. However, some are pointing to the smudges on the LCD and dust on the images could show their authenticity.

We are so used to really bad blurrycam shots, perhaps that is what has got everyone questioning them - they are just too good.

Then, of course, there is the fact that the D3 is up for renewal at some point this year, possibly at Photokina in the autumn.

What do you think? Let us know in the comments below.
