Speaker manufacturer Klipsch entered the headphone market in 2008 with the launch of the X10 in-ear headphones, and the company has just announced that its adding a mic and remote to the device - creating the iPhone-friendly Image X10i.

The remote system of the X10i consists of a three-button microphone and remote system which will enable you to control your Apple device, consisting of volume up and down, with the central button being a jack of all trades.

The remote will be compatible with the iPhone 3GS, third generation iPod shuffle, second generation iPod touch, fourth and fifth generation iPod nano models and the iPod classic 120GB.

The eartips are oval-shaped, so as long as your ear canal fits the norm they should provide a very comfy fit. The earphones will come with a 2-year warranty, five pairs of different sized ear tips and a protective carrying pouch.

The original X10 produced some quality sound, but you get what you pay for as the asking price for the updated version is a cool £229.95 - so get saving.
