LB4400 unveiled in South Korea

LG and iRiver combine for music mobile

South Korean company LG has teamed up with iRiver to launch a music phone called the LG LB4400, although many reports are giving the device the more catchy name of the LG iRiver.

The device has a 2.8-inch WQVGA OLED touchscreen and is extremely media compatible, as you'd expect from a handset with the iRiver brand involved. There's format support for music files including WMA, MP3, WAV, OGGA, ACC, APE and lossless FLAC. These files can be heard via the on-board Digital Surround Mobile. There's also said to be a 3-megapixel camera built in.

Unfortunately there's no word on UK availability as of yet, but we'll keep our ear to the ground and let you know as and when we hear anything.
