We recently covered the Samsung Wave in our First Look review and were impressed with more than a few of its feature; especially its fantastic screen. And now Vodafone has just announced that it is taking pre-orders of the device ahead of its launch on the 1 June.

Featuring a 3.3-inch AMOLED display and using Samsung's HD TV tech to deliver some decent images, you'll also find everything runs at a fair old whack by way of its 1GHz processor.

The big deal, however, is the implementation of Bada as the phone's platform, which Samsung hopes will give consumers plenty of customisation features thereby increasing the phones longevity through development of its own ecosystem.

Connectivity is taken care of through HSDPA/CDMA, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, digital compass, motion sensor and proximity sensors. And a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash is included, which will also let you capture video at 720p.

Vodafone will be offering the phone on a £25, 24-month contract which will include 300 minutes of talk and unlimited texts. So if you fancy having a look click through on this link which will take you straight to the pre-order page.
